LOCTITE? SI 587 is formulated for oxygen sensor equipped engines. The product retains effective properties in contact with automotive fluids. such as motor oil. transmission fluids. alcohol and antifreeze solutions. It is typically used for valve covers. oil pans. intake manifold end seals. timing covers and transmission pans.

NOTE: LOCTITE? SI 596 is not recommended for gasketing carburetors or fuel control devices where it will be in constant contact with hydrocarbon fuels. Material will develop excessive swell and loss of mechanical properties.
